We are excited to formally welcome Dr Maggie (Dr. Malgorzata Zolnierzow) back as part of our team. Many of you already met Dr. Maggie years back when she was completing part of her clinical training in our office. Now she has joined our team permanently to help us to continue to serve you, South Barrington, and surrounding communities.
We are excited to have Dr. Maggie’s experience in specialty contact lenses, myopia management in children and her holistic integrative health approach to dry eye management.
Her personal journey of discovering the underlying cause of her own health ailments makes her a great fit for our team as this perspective is in line with our patient centered office where our focus is to target root cause of vision disorders, not just bandage the symptoms.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Health Science and her Master of Public Health in 2017 from Benedictine University, she obtained her doctorate in Optometry from the Western University of Health Science in 2021. She has a wide range of clinical experience ranging from working at the Mountain Home VA Hospital Veterans Affairs in Mountain Home Tennessee, The East Boston Community Health Center in Boston, MA, and at Eyetopia private practice in Denver, CO. These clinical experiences have provided her with diverse advanced knowledge in ocular disease, and functional vision disorders. Dr. Maggie currently resides in Burr Ridge with her two dogs, Ollie, and Feliks. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending her time outdoors.
